So far in my career, I have had the opportunity to with work with individuals struggling with addictions, adult and youth mental health, families involved with Social Services, and crisis intervention.
I strongly believe in providing a comforting, empathetic environment for those I work with. My practice is guided by a Strength-Based approach and ensuring I maintain a space that is safe for those I work with.
Growing up on a farm, I have quickly come to realize and appreciate the therapeutic benefits that come with connecting with nature and having the opportunity to build a relationship with various animals. I believe in a non-traditional approach to therapy and have often found more success in supporting mental health outside of a traditional clinical setting. I am dedicated to supporting those I work with through any struggles they are experiencing.
I completed my certification in Equine Assisted Learning in 2023 and greatly believe in the benefits of this program for all ages. I loved the connections I built with horses while growing up and am so excited to continue working with these animals throughout my career and sharing this connection with others.
